Programme Overview
The Everyday Hero Academy is an engaging programme designed for children in Years 3 to 6, dedicated to transforming young learners into everyday heroes through interactive missions. We bridge the gap in vital life education by teaching essential first aid skills, building a strong foundation for mental wellbeing, and equipping pupils with the confidence to support others in times of need. More than just a classroom initiative, we bring families together to learn as a community, offering both dedicated children's sessions and collaborative parent/carer sessions so families can build these life-saving skills side by side.
Who Is It For
Our programme is specifically tailored for primary school pupils in Years 3 to 6. By engaging children during these formative years, we lay the groundwork for lifelong emotional resilience, physical safety awareness, and compassionate peer support.
Programme Structure
To make our programme as accessible and impactful as possible for schools and communities, we offer flexible delivery methods designed to fit seamlessly around school schedules and family availability:
-
In-School Time: We can work flexibly around schools to suit their exact needs, delivering engaging sessions directly during standard school hours, including fitting seamlessly into Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.
-
Whole-Day Immersions: We can run immersive full-day events, allowing us to deliver multiple cohorts throughout a single day to maximise student participation.
-
After-School Family Workshops: By running sessions during after-school hours, we open the doors for parents, carers, and children to partake together in our interactive family sessions, uniting the home and school environment in learning critical life skills.
